There are many circumstances that can make a security professional wish for a bullet proof guard house or a bullet proof guard shack . Usually it is when there is either a real life safety threat as demonstrated by an incident or there is perceived threat in the vicinity (reported crimes). While the desire for a bullet proof security booth, guard house or guard shack is real, there really is no such thing as a “bullet proof security building”.
Why? Well, simply put, there is always a bigger bullet. For example, if your security booth or parking lot hut is designed to resist a ballistic attack only from a 9 millimeter handgun, a bad guy with a .44 magnum will be able to penetrate the armored wall, door or laminated glass.

Thus the phrase “Bullet Resistant” guardhouse or bullet resistant security building. The level of protection for the new factory assembled security booth is determined by the specifier in the initial design phase when assessing the threat level in the area. Par-Kut portable steel buildings typically include bullet resistant walls, doors and windows. As an option, the guardhouse can be up-fitted to include armor plate in the roof and floor as well.
