Par-Kut International is a steel fabricating company that specializes in the production of factory assembled portable steel buildings, and within that larger category, a major demand is for the design and production of custom toll booth structures as well as multiple unit toll booths for major plaza construction at airports, stadiums, port facilities and the like. The toll booth design is modular in that Par-Kut manufactures their standard product in one foot increments, from 3′ x 4′ up to 10′ x 30′. The standard toll booth building includes a welded steel frame, steel roof and treadplate floor, a set of factory assembled and installed windows and door(s), finish paint in color of choice and a complete electrical system with HVAC. Par-Kut includes surface mounted fluorescent light fixtures, convenience outlets, and a circuit breaker panel with the branch breakers necessary for factory installed electrical devices and a main breaker/safety disconnect. All electrical wiring is within conduit to meet the National Electric Code. At the base, anchor clips are provided secure the toll booth to concrete island to withstand high winds.

For operating efficiency, Par-Kut toll booths and parking offices will include sliding windows for revenue collection, or ticket slots or deal trays. For short term and secure money handling, locking cash drawers and floor safes can be added. Factory preps for phone and data links can be included, too, to keep the remote toll booth operators connected with the main office. Creature comforts for the occupants of the toll booths will include tinted glass, roof top or thru wall air conditioning, anti fatigue mat flooring, insulated glass, and even additional sound deadening materials in walls and ceiling.

For rugged environments, toll booth stainless steel construction can be incorporated. Whether the stainless is used only for the base of the booth as a corrosion barrier, just the countertops, or throughout the structure, it ensures low maintenance, and is beautiful as well as extremely durable.
Architecturally, the toll booths can be standard box shape, or incorporate curves, whether on the body of the toll boot, or on the roof. Window wise, the glazing can be butt glazed “glass to glass”, or include colonial style window mullions and muntins. Alternatively, the booth may have radius comers on the window openings and have square corners on the booth. Brick, stone, and EIFIS can be factory installed.
Your design options are endless with custom built toll booths from Par-Kut. In business since 1954, portable steel buildings are our only business. Built to order, and, Built to Last!
