Many locations require their Gate Security Building to be staffed 24/7. Thus, a guardhouse design with integral sanitary facilities is required, or at least, strongly recommended for office comfort and reduction of cost for relief staffing. The guardhouse can have restrooms that are for the Security Officers only, or, for Visitors as well. Restrooms these days are most often ADA compliant to meet the most current building codes.

Par-Kut factory assembled security booth restrooms have white china fixtures for the lavatory and water closet and the guardhouses are designed to be set over the top of pre-set pipes for water and sewer. Holes are pre-cut in the floor of the portable security building or parking booth for the installer to bring up the utility pipes once the Modular Building is delivered to the job site. Restroom amenities provided by Par-Kut typically include: toilet paper holder, paper towel dispenser, mirror, and a faucet. A point of use water heater and an exhaust fan are also provided in addition to the light and the GFI outlet in Par-Kut security buildings.

Typically, a plumber will install surface mounted (exposed) piping on the walls of the security building. As an option, the security booth can include a complete factory installed plumbing package designed for a single water supply connection and one sewer hook up. Other optional restroom packages in Par-Kut security buildings include chemical, composting, or even electric toilets for those locations where running pipes to a remote or distant post is too costly.
