The flexibility of steel fabrication and Par-Kut’s ability to manufacture custom enclosures allows a shelter designer or buyer many options when it comes to planning the best layout and options for their transit shelter or smoking shelter. Starting with the size, a Par-Kut welded steel shelter can be configured to fit nearly any situation, slab size or even be butted up against a larger building. The shelter can be made with one or two doorways, or can include swing or sliding doors. Start with a 5’ x 10’ floor plan and go up or down in size from there.
The roof line can be a standard flat roof, which is standard and can handle a hefty snow load, or you can ask for: a barrel shape with roll formed steel panels, add sky lights, change to a hip style roof, or a gable style, and even top it all off with a standing seam metal roof of a contrasting color. One other thing to remember, since Par-Kut shelters are of welded steel, they can be lifted from overhead using the built in lift rings.
Benches can be added; either recycled plastic or aluminum. Benches can be simple and just bolted to the floor, or a bit more comfortable and include back rests.
Electrical can be added, too. Hard wired land line powered, or solar lights are available. Infra red heaters are available and require a high voltage hook up.
Steel shelters are painted in a single color in customer’s choice. Shelters are built to order after customers approve the project specific approval drawings.
